Symptoms of Hook Worm Infection:

✓ itching in the feet due to an allergic dermatitis known as ground itch

✓ Paroxysmal cough with blood-stained sputum (due to Passage of larvae through the lungs)

✓ Vomiting

✓ Epigastric pain

✓ Frequent loose stools

( these are seen when hook worm infestation is in small intestine)

✓ Anaemia with high output cardiac failure

✓ Retardation of mental and physical development of children in severe infection.
